Questions for You
I'm in the market for an MP3 player... and I want to know - do you have one? If so, do you like it? What brand is it? What do you like? What would you change about it? I want to get one for my trip... I'm also looking for some feel good music. So, what do you love to listen to that just makes you feel good? What do you love to dance to? What do you listen to when you want to relax and just feel at ease? All time favorite song? Favorite artist? Band?? Can't wait to hear from y'all :D

hi melissa: all time favorite song is "open arms" by journey. i love all kinds of music, just not rap, that ain't music :)
i love listening to the "city of angels" and "dreamgirls" soundtracks. i love listening to some of the LDS singers' CDs, too. i love it when music feels like it is getting inside my soul, pretty cool, makes me want to do something. makes me feel happy and peaceful.
i love boxing to george thorougood (can't spell his name) :), too. it is great work out music! baaaad to the bone is funny.
thanks for stopping by my blog pad today. thanks for the compliment about the Jeremiah 33:3 God has a phone number post. you made me smile :). also, i picked the lion because it looked kind of like he was praying in the photo. look again. what do you think? cool, eh? i also like in the c.s.lewis things how the lion (like the king of the jungle) is our king in a way. symbalism cool.
happy day :)
You should call your "little" brother - he has the lastest ipod thing....... lol :o) But then again he will try to talk you into spending more than you want to!!! That's why he is a salesman!! Gotta have Jon Schmitt!!! :o)
I had an MP3 player but only ever used it to listen to the radio. Then I won an ipod in a raffle [whoop de do] and I use it to......listen to the radio!
Sorry
We have a regular ipod and a nano. I'm not to picky, as long as they play songs. :)
I, too love Journey but my latest favorites are Snow Patrol, John Mayer and Lifehouse.
Hey Melissa! I have a cheap-o mp3 player that I like just fine. My kids have nicer ones (go figure!) Carson has an ipod shuffle which is cool cuz it's sooo small, and none of those bells and whistles that you never end up using. Keaton just got a sansa that has all those bells and whistles, but he actually uses them. He can listen to the radio and even record songs off the radio. He can also put photos and videos on it. Some say they are better than ipods, but I guess that's a matter of opinion. I guess when the battery goes out you can replace it, whereas on an ipod you have to send the whole mp3 player in to apple. Anyways, as for music...Jack Johnson all the way! Love, Jodi
We are an Apple family (as I type on my husband's Mac). We have three iPods, a shuffle, a mini, and a video iPod. I would recommend the nano (the new version of the mini). it's cheaper, but you can still put lots of stuff on it. We currently have the entire Standard Works, and about 15 other books-on-tape on there, plus a bunch of songs.
The video one is cool (if you like watching movies on a 2.5" screen), but Don likes it so he can watch movies while on 23 hour flights for his various work stuff.
I take the shuffle running because it's so tiny, but it doesn't have a screen or anything, so you get whatever comes next.
Wow, who knew I could have so much to say about electronics...
Thanks everyone! I actaully checked out some of the bands and artists named and downloaded a few new songs! :D And I think I'm leaning toward the iPod Nano... they're fairly inexpensive at Costco :) Oh how I love Costco...
Well you know I don't have to say John Mayer twice. Love him! And Keane is great, I think those are safe recommendations!
