It's a HP Kinda Thing
So, y'all know that I'm crazy. But do you really know how crazy I am? Let me give you a small example : I looked at my side bar today and saw how many days are left till the new Harry Potter book comes out. My heart did a little happy dance and I smiled... a strange sort of smile that will probably be on my face for the next 25 days... yes. I'm crazy. Crazy about Harry Potter. Anyone else out their counting down the days? Or is it just me? (I know it can't be JUST me... I didn't order 500,000 copies from Barnes and Noble... what I'm really asking is : Are you willing to ADMIT that you're counting down the days?)

Don't hate me but I haven't read a single Harry Potter book and I've only seen the first movie. I'm definitely not one of the 500,000!

Well, I'm not counting down the days, but I am really excited. My mom ordered me a copy for my birthday (back in APRIL!)

I love Harry Potter! I can't decide if I want to buy the book when it comes out--I have a copy of it reserved at the library--or just wait until I can get all 7 in paperback...I just read The Half-Blood Prince a couple weeks ago and I'm so glad I did! There was so much I had forgotten! I'm excited to see how it all comes together!!!

Kailani - you are like my husband. He's never read any of the books. He has seen the movies and enjoyed those though :)

Tracey - That's so funny that your mom got it reserved for you in April! How long will it take you to read it??

Jamie - I will probably read it in a day... two days MAX. If you'd like, you can borrow it when I'm done. It wouldn't be too much to send it... just a thought :)

I'm not counting the days, but I have read all of the books and will read the new one as soon as my MIL brings it to me from her school library. :)

Hey if you want to send it to me, I won't say no! It won't take me more than a couple days to read it either then I can just send it right back!

Jamie - not a problem! I'll let you know when I finish with it :)

We live across the street from Hewlett Packard. Most of our ward is employed by Hewlett Packard. All of our neighbors work at Hewlett Packard. Yes, it is indeed "an HP Kinda Thing!"

I thought that's what you were referencing with your opening sentence, Melissa. Harry Potter doesn't interest me much, especially since we started reading a fabulous series called 'Leven Thumps,' by an LDS author named Orbert Skye. Number three should be released this summer.

Should I even admit that I haven't seen the movies ~OR~ read the books! (don't hate me!) My hubby gets mad cause he likes watching them in the theater and i won't watch a sequil til I have seen the first one.
Same with Pirates of the Carribian, we even own these! I know they are good, I just haven't taken the time!!!
