I had a tough time finding something "shiny" for this week. I thought of a few different things, but didn't really feel like it fit what I was looking for. At first I thought of mirrors, cars, lights, water.... but nothing really hit me as "shiny" Would you like to know what did come to mind when I thought of "shiny"?

Yep. Shiny Happy People laughing. So, here are my pictures for "shiny" -

Well, maybe they aren't shiny, but they are laughing :)

My husband forever changed the way i think of the word 'shiny.' There's a street around here called Shinnecock. With his Spanish accent, he pronounces it as 'ShinyCock,' and then I crack up laughing. Every. Single. Time. Aftr all, you really don't see a ShinyCock outside of a Saturday night disco down on the farm with Rooster dressed in his finest polyester suit.

Great pictures, Melissa! My kids are in their furrowed brow/over exaggerated smile phase right now. I only get a good picture when I ambush and take them by surprise.

Yes, you do have a crew of happy and shiny faced kids... what fun and what joy they must bring. If only you could write down all the comical things they say and do; mine is 21 and I have remembered some things but forgotten twice as much! They grow so fast!
