Help!
I am about to exhibit how fashion backwards I am...sigh. I bought this skirt at WalMart today - cute, eh?
It's not really that pink... it's a cream back ground... not a great shot, but I'm in the middle of packing so I have to hurry... ANYWAY, at the bottom of each pleat is a stitch....
Is that some kind of decoration? Or do they just put those in to keep the pleats looking nice during shipping? I'm such a dork. HELP!

Haha! You're not backward! Yes it is just a basting stitch. I would take it out so the pleats can fall naturally. Super cute skirt by the way!

melissa: it could stay and be a handle for baby girl and bug to hang on to you when you are out at "target" getting rude stares from other patrons who are annoyed because you dared bring kids in public to a store to interrupt their peaceful shopping. he he.
i didn't know what it was either. i am fashion repressed and go to a regular support group to deal with it! ha! kidding! but i am a fashion ignorant girl and proud of it!
