Do You Eat Your Veggies?
Have you ever seen VeggieTales? These fantastic vegetables have been part of our lives for many years now. The kids adore them and I love the little bits of humor that are put in just for the adults - never crude or nasty - just references that the kids don't get.
Tonight we took the kids to see the new movie.
My favorite part? The man...er... I mean vegetable eating cheese curls. "I laughed, I cried, it moved me, Bob"!
The thing that surprised me the most? The teenagers! There were more teens in that theater than families! And they laughed and joked and seemed to love the movie as much as the little kids! It was so great to see these guys enjoying a flick that was silly and clean all at the same time!
So, if you've got a Veggie lover in your home, head on out and see this movie! And if you aren't familiar with VeggieTales.... go grab a few and check them out!

Glad you enjoyed it. I know when I taught young women, the girls used to talk about Veggie Tales. (I've never seen them).

Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm glad you guys like it. We are not VeggieTales people. My boys saw one video at daycare once and it scared them. Seriously. I'm not sure why, but ever since then they hate VeggieTales. I don't particularly like them myself so it wasn't a great loss for us. I suppose we're in the minority, right! ;)

My teens love them! I'm glad the movie was good, I'm sure we'll be going. Well, probably to the dollar theater...
Yea!

Teens! Clearly I am well out of the loop. There again I could do with a little distraction so maybe we should head out this afternoon for a little entertainment.
Cheers

We had a veggietales collection two years before Emma was born. Looooove 'em! And really, really wish we had a movie theatre. Grrr!

All my kids love Veggie Tales. I may or may not know all the words to the Silly Songs CD.

Especially Barbara Manatee.

Last week my hubby and I took Zach to see "National Treasure" and I saw the Veggie Tales preview for the first time. It looked so cute! I told them I wanted to see it, and they looked at me like I was a crazy person. Okay, I AM a crazy person, haha! :D

My boys are 4, 3, 3 & almost 2 - do you think they're too young? I was thinking of taking just the older 3, they watch veggie tales in nursery at church. Maybe I'll make it a one-on-one time with the oldest...
