Untouched
I remember reading that all good photos have been touched up using some kind of photo editing software. I have a couple of different programs on my computer that I use to play around with my photos, but sometimes you just get some good photos that don't really need to be messed with!
We've had some storms come through in the last few weeks and it has created some pretty amazing sunsets. I took a few pictures... some with the flash, some without. And then, I played with them. Changed colors, messed with the "artistic brushes" and decided that I liked the photos just the way they were. Unedited. I put them all back to their original state and I just love them! I'm actually thinking of turning one of them into a Valentines Day card to send to family (since we didn't get Christmas cards out... ahem...)!

So, tell me, do you touch up your photos? Or do you prefer them as is??

I touch up some photos if they seem too dark and you can't really see good definition on it.

But I prefer my photos to be untouched, since that is the way in which they portray the actual mood and setting of the picture when it was taken.

I would touch up photos, though, for say a presentation, greeting card, display.... But if I'm using photos in a photo album, I want them in their original state.

Those pictures are beautiful!!! Great job!

Those are some pretty great pictures!! Don't touch a thing. I think they'd make a fantastic greeting card for anytime.
I rarely touch up my pictures. But only because I don't really know how to work my software. I've been thinking about taking a class...

Those are amazing pictures, Melissa. I agree with justrandi--they would make fantastic greeting cards.
Not only are you a super mom, a fabulous party planner, but an awesome photographer!!!

I get rid of red eye and sometimes when they are a little blurry, I will fix that. (Now if only there was a way to help with my blinking on pictures of me ; )

I couldn't touch my photos up if I wanted too. No photoshop or other program like it.

I'm boring. I almost always leave them as is. This is due to laziness and lack of creativity. I wish I took the time though!

I can't pick just one! They're all great. I don't touch up my photos other than cropping. I've been playing around with watermarks though, because I think I need to have my posted picture marked...

I love your pictures! I don't touch mine up, mostly because I am not good with photoshop. However, I do black out the odd red eye. Just to confirm I am not the devil.

I'll fix the red eye and crop occasionally. I usually play around with the color filters sometimes but usually like them just the way they are too! Pretty pictures!

My photos are "as is" only because I have no idea how to use my Photoshop program!

Beautiful photos!

I can't believe that you took those pictures. They are gorgeous!!

I am not smart enough to do much to my photos besides brighten them up a little here and there.
