Seeing Red
I just lost my temper with Red. Sigh... he was playing a game with another kid in the neighborhood. He threw a plastic light saber at this kid's feet (as part of the game) and it bounced off the ground and hit the kid in the head - splitting his head open and giving him a HUGE goose egg... BIG SIGH. I went and talked to the kid's mom and he won't need stitches or anything, but he's a little dazed and kind of dizzy... grrr... I know it was an accident, but HELLO! When has it EVER been okay to HURL toys at another kid?! Except maybe a football... He knows better... sigh...
And now... onto more .... um.... entertaining things. I decided to wash all of our red clothing together because I thought that two of our new items might bleed a little bit. What do you think? Was I right OR WHAT?!?

Waaaaaaaaay Smart!!
I've never had that laundry issue. Although, I have to say that with such a blue-blooded BYU fan as is my Husband, we rarely have red clothes in the house anyway. (ha, ha!)
Sorry about the little friend. Those goose-eggs are no fun. :-( Hope everyone recovers from the incident...
I'm sorry that happened to Red's little friend. I hope he is better tomorrow.
Good job with the reds--the laundry reds!!!
Thank goodness you did that! There many times I forgot to consider that new clothes may bleed. Not a pretty site.

Good catch with the red clothes, that could have been a mess.
I'm sorry about the little incident with Red. Sometimes we just don't think. I hope that other mom was cool about it. This mom thing can be tough huh?
Definitely the right thing to do! We have a lot of red, but we also have a lot of ORANGE that I have to wash together...
Wow, that's just crazy...who would ever think that a toy hurled at someone's foot would end up hitting their head! I feel bad for both boys! :(
Your wash water looks like a yummy drink I like...cranberry juice cocktail mixed with Sprite...mmm, fizzy! Can I have some? ;)
Looks like cranberry juice. I do the same thing.... we have lots of pink and red!
Wow! That is a frightening amount of dye!
I'm with my mom...that water looks kinda appetizing.
lol... yah, i'd say just a little bleeding has occurred.
