Clever
Some of you may remember when I blogged about this:

The wonder pan that makes all edge brownies. I have been coveting this pan ever since that day. But then I got on Amazon to read some reviews... they were all positive, but one person had written in and asked "Why don't you just use muffin tins?"
And I sat.
And stared.
And thought to myself... "Brilliant!"
So, as an edge lover, I am going to make brownies using my mini muffin tins! I'll let you know how they turn out!

I thought this was an ingenius pan too. Don't we all feel dumb sometimes??? I have tried the muffin tins and they turn out great. The only problem is it's hard to eat just one!

Great idea. :) (I just knew you were smart like that!)

Still, I'd love to have that pan hanging around and have something for my guests to say, 'Wow, what an interesting pan...!'

I'm silly that way. Speaking of pans, last night our Baby Boy tossed a pan across the room (okay, he's only 1, it was only a few feet really), and broke my nice pan. Hubby said, 'It's only a pan.' I said, 'Hey! Every pan is essential in running a spectacular kitchen!'

They just don't get it. :S

(Excited to hear how the brownies turn out!) :D

mini muffin tin is a brilliant idea! Then you'll get 2 bite brownies.

Smart, smart, smart!!

I don't know.... will you get the same crunchy edge with the softer middle? ( depending of course on who's baking them...)

Let us know!

makes sense to me. i'm still wondering, though, why you would want mostly edges :D

We have a pan that makes 6 heart shaped things at a time, and another that makes 6 star shaped things at a time. I've used them for brownies, but my problem was figuring out how long to bake them...you know how it's hard to judge brownie doneness! I've usually overbaked them, and instead of crunchy edges, they end up being hard as little rocks around the edges! But I'm lame like that, haha! :D

I never thought about that but then I would have never thought about a great pan like this either so there you go. Good thing there are great thinkers out there to take care of such important things like this.

If you try it let us know how long you baked them. Our grocery always has those cute bite-sized brownies from muffin tins, I always want to try to make them but chicken out. I can never tell when brownies are done
