Maybe... Just Maybe....
If the stars and moon line up just right... I think we will be able to go to DisneyLand! Hurrah! I wanted to surprise the kids completely... as in, they won't know we are going to DisneyLand till we pull in the parking lot, kind of surprise! But, I'm starting to rethink that. We will only have one day in the park. I want to plan things out to some degree. And that will require their input. I am pretty sure that Red will want to do Star Tours and Jedi Training. Little Bug is good with just about anything Pixar, but I'm not sure if he will get on any of the rides (the one I was SURE he would love, Jungle Cruise, is closed for the time being, of course). At first I thought that Baby Girl would want to see every Princess possible. But then I started to think about it... she only REALLY knows ONE Disney Princess. She has never seen "Aladdin"
She's seen "Sleeping Beauty".... once
Malificent scared her pretty darn good...
She's seen "Beauty and the Beast"... um... once, a couple of years ago, I think...
And I can't remember ever watching "Snow White" with her
Then we have "The Little Mermaid"... and we didn't watch the whole thing...
because along with Ariel came this lovely little lady...
And that leaves us with "Cinderella" - the ONLY DISNEY PRINCESS BABY GIRL KNOWS!!
Yep - the only one. And then I realized: we just aren't princess-y kind of girls! Our princesses look more like this:
She likes to dress up as a princess sometimes, but she would rather be out riding her bike and playing in the dirt. I know she'll still want to see the Princesses, but I don't think it will be as big of a deal as I had first thought. I think she'll enjoy seeing characters from Toy Story or Winnie the Pooh just as much - if not more since those are the characters she will recognize!
So, wish us good luck (and good health!) as we head out on our trip... it's going to be quite an adventure!

I'm so excited for you to go!!! Definitely good luck and good health.
Love your picture of your Disney princesses--way too cute.
Can't wait to see pictures of your adventure to the "Happiest Place on Earth"!!!
Glad you guys can go! Have fun!
If she's anything like my Emma, she'll take to any character dressed up extra pretty. =) Yay! You guys are going to have so much fun!
I absolutely LOVE the picture. That's the kind of princess I was growing up! Give me my bike and dirt ANY day over dressing up!!
You're gonna have a great time, whether you surprise them or not. Plus, if it's NOT a surprise, it's always good for a bribe or two! (instert evil laugh here)
I am so happy to hear that you're able to go!! :D
I'm sure they'll have fun whatever the plans are... for the most part... mostly...
I hope you have so much fun! :)
P.S. - Your new header is sooo pretty! :)
i love the demented princess pic. i'm trying to figure out how i can use it - maybe in a future post :]
when are you going to disneyland? and i'm disappointed for you guys that the jungle cruise is closed. you'll still have a great time.
Have fun! I love that crazy princess picture. Being that I live in a house of men, princesses are not anywhere in attendance. Although, J does like watching Sleeping Beauty (the dragon) and Cinderella (the mice).
ohFUN!! love that last shot of the princesses revealing their true colors. those are my kind of girls. :)
I hope you guys have tons of fun! I know I do, everytime I visit Disneyland :)
Have fun at D-land. My baby sister totally got nightmares from Ursula and had to avoid The Little Mermaid for many years as a result. But she is still a well-adjusted adolescent, so she wasn't scarred for life.
Whatever you guys do, you will have a blast I'm sure.
I love the crazy princess picture!
I'm so excited for you. I sure wish I could go with. I think the kids will have fun regardless of what you do. Can't wait to hear how it goes. Enjoy!
Cute, cute post! I'm glad your family is feeling better, HOORAY! :D
Have you been on the Winnie The Pooh ride in Critter Country? It's so cute! :)
I wanna come too! :)
