Sorry -I've decided to remove photos, but I'm not going to edit all the content on each blog post... if it refers to a picture, I took it off.
Start with Frosting, End with Exhausting!
What a fun day we had yesterday! It was a little crazy because we were running all day, but over all, Halloween was a HUGE success. We made sugar cookies for Little Bugs class yesterday morning and then send him off to school with his costume in his backpack. He was not pleased to see it. Then Baby Girl and I ran errands all afternoon trying to get a few last minute items. Then we had to pick up Red early from school so that we could get Little Bug from his school and get him to speech therapy on time! When we went to get Little Bug from school I found him wearing part of his costume! YEAH!! Not much, but a huge step for him... it probably helps that I tried to dress him like a cowboy and he loves the hat. During speech therapy I took Red and Baby Girl to the coolest park! The toys are amazing and we can't wait to go back! We had a fabulous time! After speech, red changed into his costume in the car, we ran home and got him a flashlight and then took him to a party with friends. The rest of us ran home, got the kids into costumes (lots of crying on Little Bugs part, but he eventually caved...), we got everything organized for the trunk or treat and then ran to the church! The trunk or treat went SO WELL! I was so excited! You see, for about 4 years now Little Bug has refused to trick/trunk or treat. He hates it. It scares him to death and he cries. A lot. But, each year we try just a little bit to see if he will go. HE WENT THIS YEAR! WAHOO!! The only trouble we had was at an inflatable haunted house (wouldn't go near it) and anyone who had real candles in their jack-o-lanterns (he HATES candles). We had candles in our pumpkins, but he was behind them for most of the night. After an hour we were completely out of candy. And now... I'm gonna rant just a tad... I hate hate HATE it when moms bring their NEWBORN BABIES around and stick a bag in my face! What the heck?! Are you telling me that your 2 month old is REALLY gonna eat that Reeses Peanut Butter Cup?? Really, if you want candy that bad, head to Wal-Mart! BLAH! Rant over. Here are a few pics of the kids costumes and the decorations from our truck last night.

Red as Ron Weasley from the Harry Potter books....

Little Bug as a cowboy... he wouldn't wear the bandanna or carry the lasso... but we got the shirt and the hat! I'm good with that :)

Our little princess...

Remember I said it was an exhausting day... Baby Girl sat down in the back of the truck and fell asleep! Hope your Halloween was as great as ours!

1. I am loving your new template and header!

2. Way to go Little Bug! Sounds like he had the best Halloween yet! I can imagine that all of the crazy sights and sounds of Halloween are very unnerving to him. Sometimes they are to me too : )

3. SO impressed with your truck for Trunk or Treat!

4. That's hilarious about the mamas of the newborns! Seriously funny, but I also can see how it would be maddening, cuz really they are taking candy away from other children. I guess if they can feel good about literally taking candy away from a child...

I can't believe Red--what a great Ron. And Baby Girl looks adorable--she must have been sooooooo tired.
