Christmas Craziness
Yes, I'm going to blog about Christmas before Thanksgiving. Why? Because I'm a Christmas purist. I believe that it should be celebrated ALL YEAR LONG. And so, it comes time for me to make another change. No, not the template, not yet. I'm still being thankful for our Veterans and our men and women currently serving in the armed forces. No, the change I'm making will probably annoy a great many of you. But, it is my blog. And so, I'm gonna do it. It's time to start the Christmas music. Oh yes it is! Every time you come to my blog you will be greeted with cheery tunes of the holiday persuasion. What is your favorite Christmas song? Leave me a note in the comments and I'll see if I can get it on the playlist! I hope that if you are a Scrooge or a Grinch that you will still stop by and read. Just turn the volume down before you come on over. But, if you're like me and you can't get enough of the stuff, well then! Crank it up! Cause it's Christmas here at the Memos!

I can't wait to play Christmas music! Ours is packed away with the decorations. I love anything by Roger Whittaker. I grew up with my mum playing his Christmas album every year, and even though it doesn't fit it with my current tastes, I adore it.

Heh. We've had the music on for at least a week now. Check out my post on our traditions. I'm SO into the spirit early this year!

I asked my Seminary kids "When is it early enough to start singing Christmas hymns?" I think we will start Dec. 1.

I love "I'll be Home for Christmas" Of course, I cry every time I hear it, so maybe you shouldn't play it on your blog or I will cry while I read your posts!!

I'm excited to put up the tree next Friday! I have a tie for favorite Christmas song. I love Amy Grant's "Breathe of Heaven," but I also really love the simple hymn "Once in Royal David's City." Merry Christmas! :-)

I didn't plan this, but I saw a new Christmas CD by Josh Groban and boughtit...in the middle of October. We have been listening to Christmas music ever since! It's not a commercial thing...it just really makes me feel happy! And even though we're having record high temperatures, it still feels like a white Christmas is on the way, tee hee!

My favorite Christmas song is "Oh Holy Night" by Josh Groban.

I like Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton's Christmas album. Like Kim said, it doesn't really fir my normal music taste, but I love it because I grew up hearing it relentlessly.

Melissa, one of my favorite Christmas songs is, I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas. But it's sort of obnoxious, and I don’ t know how much the rest of your viewers will appreciate it. I hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
