Terrible Tuesday
Today is going to be one of those days where I run. No, not really run. I hate running. But I will have to go from place to place without much of a break. We've got a play group at 9 and then we have to hurry home to get Little Bug cleaned up and on the bus for school. I have to go to Costco and get a veggie tray for Enrichment (a meeting for the women in our church... more about that in a minute). I have to hurry because it's minimum day for Red (every Tuesday is... I hate Tuesdays...) and as soon as he gets home we have piano lessons and then Cub Scouts. After that is Back to School Night for Little Bug at the same time as Enrichment. I'm the Enrichment leader and I'm supposed to give a short presentation and help in the nursery. I had no idea that tonight was back to school night. We had one paper come home the first day of school with a date and then "more info to follow". We never got the "more info" and I totally spaced it. So, I'm trying to figure out a way to juggle that. The fact that Little Bug went to sleep at 11 and I got to bed at 11:30 doesn't help. It also didn't help that I drank a bottle of water at 11:15 last night. My Tuesday started at 3:37 this morning when I had to get up and pee. I hope that isn't indicative of how the rest of this day is going to turn out....

You could always drop playgroup. Unless they force you to come. Even then I wouldn't go. But, I don't do playgroups. That's why I wouldn't go.
These are the days that you just want to crawl back in bed and let someone else be in charge for the day. I hope you get it all worked out and don't loose to much hair in the process.
I don't know if it's my computer or what, but I cannot read this at all.

You're Enrichment Leader and you're to help out in the Nursery??? I'm with Carrot, is Play Group something you really have to do today? Sorry you didn't get much sleep again. Hope the day gets better.
Busy days! What're you gonna do, ya know? I purposely don't volunteer to be in charge of things because they ALWAYS end up being more than they were presented as up front. Hope the day ends up being a good one.
Your day sounds like mine. I just came home from going on a field trip with E. I'm running out the door for a couple of errands before visiting teaching, which will take about 2 hours. Then, it's home to get the boys, get E to his scouts, do my den meeting for my Wolves and then get E to karate. I'm not sure when or what we're eating.
My weekend was very bad. I hate days where I'm running around all day! I feel for you girl! Lucky it's only 24 hours right?
It'll all be just a bad dream soon. I have activity days today and my husband has boy scouts. But I'm glad it will be over in the first part of the week.
Sometimes I can't believe all the "stuff" we squeeze in to one day! You are amazing - even if it doesn't feel that way at the moment.
I agree with Yvonne- Enrichment Leader should not have to do Nursery too! Sounds like someone else wimped out. You didn't plan it that way, I bet.
i hate days like this. what gets me through is reminding myself that with each minute, each hour, i am closer to the day being over. and hopefully tomorrow will be more of a day where you can catch your breath and enjoy some down time. good luck.
