I never thought it would happen. I always assumed that my blood would be thick and that the temperatures Southern Californians referred to as "cold" would always feel nice and refreshing. I was wrong. I have all the windows open today. There's a storm blowing through. My thermostat says 75 and I'm ALMOST cold. Not quite, but almost. My kids are curled up on the couch in their blankets watching "Fraggle Rock" (I love Netflix) and I'm sitting by the open door contemplating putting on long sleeves and pants. I've become... one of them. What will our trip to Idaho be like in November?? I'm gonna freeze my tail off! Hmm... well, maybe it will be a good excuse to buy one of these super cute sweaters from Old Navy or Kohls!

Oh yes, you must have one of those cute sweaters. I like the grey hooded one and the black hooded one. I guess I'm in a hooded mood. I pulled out the long sleeved shirts this last weekend as fall comes to the northwest.
ReplyDeleteOoo...I love sweater weather! I always have to go the cardigan route though, because I overheat so easily. They're perfect for those lazy days though. Hmm...speaking of, I'm freezing...
ReplyDeleteCute sweaters--let's not talk about the cold weather. I know it's coming but I keep hoping that it won't be for awhile.
ReplyDeletei used to live in southern california - the beach cities. i remember feeling frozen when it got to 65 (and below). then i moved here to colorado. 65 degrees here is shorts weather. i'm still in awe in the contrast in the weather between these two states.
ReplyDeletehave a great weekend.
I think my blood hasn't thinned, rather clogged or reptilian. It's so close here today you can almost grab a handful of air.
ReplyDeleteCheers
There's a big problem with those sweaters...HOW DO YOU CHOOSE? They're way cute! :)
ReplyDeleteIn Arizona where I live, I shouldn't get cold in the winter, but I do anyway...now and then! A nice sweater never wears out here though, because it gets so little use! ;)
Hi! I am Nancy Face's daughter! Your blog is so cute!!
ReplyDeleteThose sweaters are so adorable...I really like that argyle one...
It was hovering around 95 degrees today. Don't talk to me about chilly temps because my over heated brain don't want to hear none of it.
ReplyDeleteI have sweaters dating back to my high school days in like new condition. Know why? Because we only have about 6 weeks of the year that we can wear them.
I have a secret argyle fetish.....so naturally I like the argyle sweater.
ReplyDeleteMy blood has gotten thicker since we moved to Idaho! It's been in the 70's here and I love it.
ReplyDeleteI love sweater weather.
I want the striped one and the grey hooded one!
ReplyDeleteYou California people aren't allowed to wear SWEATERS, are you? That said, as a Coloradoan, I think I'll order one of each...
ReplyDeletei thought you were too hot for stuff like this? :)
ReplyDeleteHA! Did you know I'm originally from So. California? That first winter in Idaho was killer. I mean, really. What is that white stuff falling from the sky? I didn't know my hair would FREEZE if I walked outdoors with it wet...whoa.
ReplyDeleteI do like those sweaters. But the closest Old Navy is...I don't even know. I think I need to find out. It's 60 today, and I'm wearing three layers (including a sweater and a thermal).
