Pet Peeves
There is a blog where each Monday everyone is given a topic to blog about... It's called My Life Monday. Anyway, I know it isn't Monday, but I'm going to do this anyway! This Monday was Pet Peeves. Next week I'll do it again and see if I can insert the cute graphic that goes with it :)

1 - Hair stylists that don't listen. I take a picture in that looks all sleek and blunt cut and I end up looking like a French poodle! I have only had three stylists that ever listened to me and did as I asked . Everyone else styles my hair big. REALLY BIG. :P There needs to be a course at Beauty School called - The 80's are GONE - Get over it! Or perhaps - Bigger Isn't Always Better.

2 - People who apologize for things that aren't their fault. I understand showing a little sympathy... but if I say, "Hey, it looks like it's gonna rain" and they say "I'm sorry" it is annoying. Why are you sorry? Can you control the weather?

3 - People who talk before they think... which means that I sometimes commit one of my own pet peeves... sigh...

4 - Lee talked about this on her blog... people who wait for your parking spot even before you have gotten all of your groceries in the car. I had a lady do this today. Baby Girl and I were taking our time and just kind of playing around. I hadn't noticed this woman waiting for us. I get in and start to back out, but had to stop for a pedestrian. The woman in the car starts shaking her hands at me like "What the heck are ya doing??" Now, as much fun as it would have been to go to jail for running someone over, I decided to wait. I pulled out and passed the lady who had been so impatient, she sneered and turned away. Grrr...

So, what are some of your pet peeves? Or do you share some of the same ones as mine?

I hear ya on the hair stylists. My peeve with them is cutting bangs. I like my bangs shorter, above the eyebrows but noooooo...they can never get it right. I always get the same line "they're wet, they'll spring up when they dry". No they don't, there's no "spring" in my board straight bangs. Sheesh.

Shirlee - I had one stylist that was so awesome... not only did she cut my hair the way I wanted, she then took me step by step through doing the style! I miss that girl... :)

It is sooo hard to find a good hairstylist. I don't like them to style my hair, but I do not want to leave with wet hair. So I usually run home and re style it myself.

pj - I usually leave the salon while running my fingers through my hair. Maybe I need to market an emergency hair kit - it would have a tiny spray bottle of water, a brush, maybe a little hair spray and some hair clips. Just so damage control can be done as soon as possible... till more drastic changes can be made

Gah! I am so with you on the apologizing one. I usually can't keep from exploding at the person, "WHY ARE YOU SORRY! STOP APOLOGIZING!" I have no patience at all for people who personally take the blame for all of life's random woes. I think I've freaked out a few people with my insane reaction to what they think is just being polite.

BTW - I totally laughed at your contest entry! So wrong... and yet so right. Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
